Submission closed an hour ago, and it’s time for some judging.

Unfortunately, this contest was not as well-attended as the last one. Gus Mueller’s Emily Dickinson Keywords was the only entry.

EDK looks at the song that is currently playing, and searches a list of poems for one which matches a word from the song metadata. It’ll then display the matching poems in a lovely calligraphy font.

Congratulations, Gus. You’re the Chairman next time around.

Congratulations Gus. Next time we need to do a little bit more advertising.

I was really looking forward to this one, but health issues combined with no free time at all this weekend prevented me from participating. I really liked the theme and the API and look forward to the next one.

    Congrats to Gus.

Congratulations Gus. At least I know I won’t have to compete against you next time :)

I would have entered, but I don’t have Yellow Rose of Texas in my itoots collection. Maybe next time!

Congrats Gus! Does anyone know if visualizers work at all under iTunes on ICBMs? I certainly haven’t had much luck. (…or are my preferences just borked or something simple like that?)

Anyway, good show! I look forward to seeing it running once I figure out why it won’t. :P

Sorry Mark- it’s not a ubin. I’m lazy that way. And honestly, it’s not worth it :)

  8. ccgus Says:

    Oh, and thanks everyone!

Thanks for the reply, Gus. Too bad I won’t be able to run it on my ‘Book. Seemed just the thing to impress my snobbish english lit-major friends. ;-)

Maybe I’ll have to learn how to program ubin visualizers. Yeah, right after I figure out why Apple breaks their own DTD for Final Cut Pro XML exports… HA!

    Anyway, congrats again!
